Services for Dora Faulstick, 71, Friday

 

Funeral services for Dora Anna Faulstick, 71, former Whittemore resident, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, October 13, at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Whittemore, the Rev. Cleo Kautsch officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran cemetery, Whittemore, with the McCullough Funeral Home in charge.

Casketbearers are Lynn Theesfield, Randall Theesfield, Roger Faulstick, Daniel Gilmore, Larry Gade and Jerald Gade.

Mrs. Faulstick died at Lutheran hospital, Fort Dodge, where she had been a patient since October 2.

Dora Ann Gade was born May 30, 1896 at West Bend. Her parents were August and Marie Voss Gade. She was married February 11, 192_ at Whittemore to Hugo J. Faulstick, who died in May of 1955.

Three daughters and two sons survive. Mildred, Mrs. Forrest Gilmore, Whittemore; Lorna, Mrs. Duane Wallukait, Fort Dodge; Marie, Mrs. Richard Theesfield, Storm Lake; Victor, West Bend and William, Whittemore. There are 18 grandchildren. Four brothers and one sister also survive. Huge, Algona; Edwin, Whittemore; Warner, West Bend; Hermand and Erna, Mrs. Emil Bierstedt,

Fenton. Half brother and sister, William Bell, West Bend and Mrs. Mathilda Meyer, Whittemore, also survive. One brother, Ernest and two half sisters and two half brothers preceded.

Mr. and Mrs. Faulstick farmed in the Lotts Creek area until 1952 when he retired and they moved to Whittemore. Mrs. Faulstick made her home with her daughter, Mildred when her health failed and since June had been a resident of the Good Samaritan Home.

She was member of the Ladies Aid of the St. Paul Lutheran church, at Whittemore.
